Prospero Media Group is an Internet Broadcasting Network. We aggregate original, independent film and television for delivery over the Internet. Our technology instantly streams content while protecting copyrights.
PMG’s content is built around irresistible storytelling, offering original international film, documentaries and popular serials. Our programming is created in, and by, local, ethnic, and indigenous producers in their communities and cultures the world over.
PMG offers new media for a new medium with a new message; a message of humanity, diversity, creativity and hope. Using a unique technical package and delivery system enables PMG to create instantaneous full access secure streaming of our product to any household via the Internet.
PMG will focus audience development among the young, urban, and highly educated; what we’re calling the “Intellectual Net Set” or what others have called a bohemian mix of the “young digerati.” They are ethnically diverse, progressive, tech savvy singles and couples. They are early adopters, quick to check out the latest movie, laptop, nightclub and microbrew. They’re typically part of the urban fringe and they’re affluent enough to afford all the latest toys. Sixty-one percent are adults between the ages of 18 and 49, 29% are college graduates and nearly half earn more than $60,000 a year, and 25% live in the five largest television markets. 75% regularly buy online, with one third spending more than $250 in recent online purchases. PMG will tap into this Intellectual Net Set by offering a new, more convenient way to access video programming.
PMG’s financial strength is grounded in multiple revenue streams. Our subscriptions feature monthly packages and pay as you go plans. Our TAG advertising system creates contextual advertising supported with behavioral data. We will license both our content and technology Additional sponsorship and advertising revenue via pay per view programming. The PMG on-line store will retail content, event packaging, and our branded merchandise.
ShowCompetitive Advantage
Interest in the online video market is attracting many competitive players, but with the tremendous growth potential there is plenty of opportunity. Many similarly-sized companies, as well as larger ones, are capable of pursuing PMG’s target audience. Our ability to compete will be based on providing unique high quality content and seamless high-speed delivery. We plan to take advantage of all the Web has to offer, in terms of delivery and interactivity, to provide original programming, communication, information and entertainment. We intend to go far beyond the most popular video services available today who only provide user-generated uploads and re-packaged broadcast television. Many of whom do not offer a social networking component.
Our “video on demand” network provides unique, feature content through a worldwide organization of independent film and video producers concentrating on grassroots cultural programming. In addition, we are developing proprietary applications specifically designed for video. These include our Content Management Software (CMS), Play-list Generator (PLG), and Targeted Advertising Generator (TAG).
