Clients who have a Virtual Catalog are simply not a one‐time annual purchaser. We have an open platform, which enables the Client to upgrade and expand marketing & business tools as add‐ons that integrate with the platform (e.g. Online Payment Transactions, CRM, Contact Management, etc.). This ensures that Clients not only realize a one‐time value, but a continual value in goodboog’s platform. Additionally, we will also have many forms of unique target marketed and referral based advertising within the system. What this means for goodboog’s revenue model, is that we will continually be able to up‐sell our existing and new Clients with marketing and business tools that they actually need and that will actually give them results.
The competitive advantage of goodboog is that we have a much broader global reach in 25 languages than any of our limited identified competitors. Additionally and equally as important, goodboog has an open developer platform, which enables Firms and Professionals in goodboog to take advantage of the latest marketing & business tools made available in real time. This enables goodboog to rapidly evolve in creating critical mass by giving our Clients and Users the cutting edge in Internet business & marketing technology, while our ‘dinosaur’ competitors take much more time to evolve by creating everything bureaucratically in‐house for their ‘closedwall’ platforms. goodboog's market is not online limited to the language and demographic of North America (5.1% of the world's population using the Internet), but worldwide in over 160 countries in 25 languages. Furthermore, we do not intend to limit ourselves to the proprietary technology applications developed in North America alone, but seek to utilize application technologies developed abroad and implemented to the goodboog platform democratically.
IP is an integral part of goodboog’s business. Besides logos being trademarked and code and content under copyright, the international nature of goodboog requires goodboog to have a full IP plan. We have consulted with lawyers in Canada and abroad, and are working out details to protect all information and maintain control of content.
