wommp is a platform for youth to discover what’s happening in their local environment. Youth can access opinions from people they trust about places they’re interested in, and discover events and specials at their favourite places, which helps youth make better decisions about where to go, what to do and even when to shop;  youth save time and money. wommp is unique because it filters content – youth decide who they want to hear from and when, which solves the huge problem of information overload. wommp also gives businesses the chance to interact with youth. For instance, businesses can send updates, such as a 4 hour sale, to their customers via email/SMS. All businesses benefit from a free mini-website (similar to a listing in a directory but with everything youth need to interact with the business) and businesses can receive weekly customer feedback reports and participate in online gift certificate programs. The goal is to connect those who know with those who want to be in the know and increase efficiency in the market place.
