CellMap is a mobile application that provides mall or destination businesses a means to promote their services via a customized interactive map.
The CellMap software engages a visitor's interests in a one-on-one promotional dialogue. CellMap Inc. assembles everything about a place into one interactive mobile application that includes a custom map, directory, and updated promotional and event data. CellMap delivers a fast-loading and mobile friendly interface. It's a compelling mini-location based information service (LBS) that brings business and visitors together.
CellMap aims to become the ultimate mobile advertising tool for destinations. We partner with an existing business, we call Site Management. These guys already provide maps and event information for visitors, and are well connected to other businesses on site.
We enable Site Management to create a CellMap, and turn on sub-accounts linked to business locations. Businesses then advertise, and have their promotions delivered directly to the interested visitors.
CellMap then shares a portion of the revenue back with Site Management.
ShowCompetitive Advantage
Our technical leadership has built a focused mobile application that does one thing exceptionally well, orient and engage visitors.
Unlike overly broad GIS tools like google maps or lat49, CellMaps provide focus, context, and a compact deliverable package specially designed for your mobile phone.
Paper map companies are our biggest competitor, and most likely our best partner. They offer an immediately useful paper map of the site, but logistics prevent them from filling the edges with more than approximately 50 business advertisements. CellMap has no such limitation, and increases in utility with more information.
CellMap's proprietary mobile application and web back-end tools are very difficult to re-produce by the tourism information sector, primarily because software development is not their forte. To better protect our investment, we are investigating patenting some of our technologies.
Aaron Hilton has 12 years of software development experience and has driven the technical direction of CellMap.
Wayne Choi has 3 years of project management with Microsoft, as well as 5 years of software development with proven experience in user interaction and organizational processes.
Under our direction we have built a sophisticated web portal and mobile application.
We realize forward movement requires sales and marketing expertise.
CellMap is at an inflection point, with capable technology already developed and an increasing array of interested site partners. We would like angel investors to fiscally support and provide guidance for our development. We want to launch this service aggressively across North America, become a relevant content provider for wireless carriers, and we need your help.
