The Pitchies 'Expert's Pick' and 'People's Choice'

That's right 2 chances to win a Pitchie! If you can get yourself to Vancouver on November 6, 2008 then you qualify for the Expert’s Pick. Think you have what it takes - finalists will go head to head in front of a panel of top business executives and investors for the title of 'Best Pitch'.

Not a Vancouver resident? If you're on the other side of the country or in a neighboring one (hello our American friends), then you can qualify for the People's Choice competition. As People's Choice ‘Best Pitch’ winner, we'll wing you here, Nov. 6, for a trip to the home of the 2010 Olympics and your opportunity to compete against our Expert's Pick finalists for bragging rights and some great social networking. And even if you are a Vancouver resident – you can still go for the People’s Choice title!

The Pitchies Awards

To celebrate the art of the pitch, The Pitchies Awards will be a night of competition, nerves, socializing and sharing your pitch. On November 6, 2008, 7 finalists from the Expert's Pick and the People's Choice winner will go head to head live in front of a panel of expert judges. 6 minute presentations, Q&A, and a final vote will determine who claims the honor of a Pitchie and earns the title of 'Best Pitch'.
